Yoga in Bath

Yoga is around 2000 years old and has been adapted over many years to become a practice of stretching the body in a sequence of poses or asanas with a conscious awareness of the breath (pranayama). This can have a subtle but profound effect on the body and mind. The benefits of yoga include the building of strength, stamina and flexibility and the ability to bring about a more peaceful frame of mind.

The yoga that Pam teaches has evolved over time to become a flow between poses, connecting the body with the breath, assimilating the stretch, and then bringing awareness into the quality and depth of movement. This is done in a meditative, relaxing (and often fun) way, by exploring the edges of the stretch – not pushing but releasing into a place of stillness and relaxation.
